Language: English

Summary:

This talk is a case study of a project using Plone to provide a member portal and intranet for a volunteer-driven NGO. The focus will be on areas where the project is leading to the development of new open-source code, including:

- Giving teams of people the ability to collaborate in a private work area, using collective.workspace.
- Asynchronously keeping information about people in sync with an external CRM system, using celery.
- How to improve Plone's mechanisms for tracking and querying non-hierarchical relations between content items.
