Talk details

Language: English
Level: Basic
Summary:
Up to now, writing Javascript was an unpleasant, tedious, error-prone task, that (almost) no Plone developer enjoyed doing... Based on this, work has been put into a Javascript development framework, that promises to solve these issues, and will allow to write testable, elegant code, allowing to easily include new technologies used in the Javascript world. Furthermore, it will allow UI design without the need to know anything from the Plone stack (buildout, python, etc).
Patterns is going to replace all the old Javascript and be included as default since Plone 5.0
