This talk provides sysadmins with an in-depth, detailed technical case study of a real-world Plone deployment engineered to maximize uptime, security and performance. The focus is not on tweaking Plone but on infrastructure components and the technical architecture to make this happen. Technologies covered will be: Plone, Relstorage, Solr, Apache, mod_wodan, Varnish, HAProxy, MySQL, mmm agent, heartbeat. You'll walk away understanding how and why we engineered this 11-way cluster so that it can lose 10 of 11 servers and still serve a high-end site from a single virtual. You'll get some war stories and gotchas as well :-).
